Texas Wind Power has a 20 Wind Turbine 25 year agreement with Lubbock Power and Light. The project is designed in two phases. The first phase is three turbines, planned to be interconnected directly to LP&L's distribution system. The second phase is up to 17 wind turbines dependent on green marketing interests with LP&L customers. Project planned to provide about $10 million in capital investment in Lubbock county by 2010.
